Only registered coaches are allowed bench side with the team on game days. This will be strictly enforced throughout the season.
No goals or field equipment are to be moved.
Contact Pat IMMEDIATELY if the goals are moved or unanchored.
Coaches MUST display coaching ID on lanyard at all games.
Players must wear shin guards at practice and games.
Shin injury is occurring to unprotected players because of coaches not checking equipment at practice. Shin guards are part of the required soccer equipment. Coaches must require shin guards or make the player sit out practice.
FYSA will not cover any injury if the player was not wearing shin guards.

Becoming a Coach
It is mandatory that all coaches, including assistant coaches, do the following:
Satisfactorily complete the background check (GotSoccer)
Attend the mandatory coaches clinic. (The coaching director will contact you with more information on the clinic.)
No one will be allowed to coach without the above tasks being completed!
This is for the protection of all of the kids, and the system won't allow us to assign you to a team if these aren't accomplished.
