The Big Goal
The building and lighting project at Sebastian Soccer

Sebastian Soccer opened the "Field of Dreams" on 16 acres of land at the North County Regional Park in 2009, joining the already installed park, pool, and baseball complexes. When construction began, the location where the fields are located now was a swampy mess, mostly under water. From digging 3 massive ponds around the property, Sebastian Soccer was able to build up the fill to create 6 full sized soccer fields, and two berms on the property.

Our goal now is to complete the field of dreams, by installing lights, constructing permanent facilities, and bringing the play fields up to highest standards. This is no easy task, and as a nonprofit organization, we can't do it without help from the

To start off, we are in desperate need of restrooms. From estimates, the complete construction of restrooms, a concession, a conference room, and storage, all in one building is approximately $155,000. It can only be accomplished with help from everyone. Every coach, every parent, every board member, every volunteer, and especially every player.

If you could help in any way possible, by donating, sponsoring, volunteering, or by simply registering your child in our soccer program, please contact Scott O'Brien, SSA VP to Help Us Reach Our Goal for future soccer generations in and around Sebastian.
