Law I - The Field:

1. Field Size:

A. U6 - 30 X 50 yards

B. U8 - 30 X 50 yards

C. U10 - 40 X 50 yards

D. U12 - 50 X 80 yards

E. U15 - 50 X 80 yards

Note: U6 & U8 fields will have an arch in front of the goal where no player can touch the ball. Penalty for this infraction will be covered in Law XIII.

2. Goals:

U6 & U8 goals will be 4 X 6 Feet

U10 goals will be 6 X 18 Feet

U12 goals will be 7 X 21 Feet

U15 goals will be 7X 21 Feet

1. U6 & U8 Size # 3.

2. U10 & U12 - Size # 4

3. U15 - Size #5

1. U6 - 4 players on the field without a goalkeeper.
2. U8 - 5 players on the field without a goalkeeper.
3. U10 - 7 players on the field including a goalkeeper.
4. U12 - 8 players on the field including a goalkeeper.
5. U15 - 8 players on the field including a goalkeeper.
6. Substitutions: Any stoppage of play.
7. Playing time: Each player MUST play 50% of the total playing time

1. All players must wear shin guards.

2. No jewelry allowed unless medical notification emblem (Must be taped to player). No cast allowed.

3. No metal cleats or baseball cleats allowed, must be rounded soccer cleats. Tennis shoes allowed but not recommended.

1. All games will be 4 quarters.

• U6 will play 8 minute quarters.
• U8 will play 10 minute quarters.
• U10 will play 12 1/2 minute quarters.
• U12 & U15 will play 15 minute quarters.

2. There shall be a 2 minute break between the 1st & 2nd - 3rd & 4th quarters.

3. There shall be a half time break of 5 minutes.

4. U6 will not change sides at the start of the second half.

5. U8, U10, U12 & U15 will change sides at the start of the second half.

1. U6 & U8 opponents must be at least 5 yards away from the ball.

2. U10 & U12 opponents must be at least 8 yards away from the ball.

3. U15 opponents must be 10 yards away from the ball.

1. The ball is out of play when:

· The whole ball has crossed the goal line or touch line weather on the ground or in the air.

· Play has been stopped by the referee.

2. The ball is in play at all other times.

1. No goal may be scored from your half of the field except U15.

2. No goal may be scored if touched in the arch (U6 & U8 only).

4. No goal may be scored directly from an indirect kick, the ball must touch another player before entering the goal.

1. There shall be no offside called during U6 & U8 games.

2. Offside shall be called in U10, U12 & U15.

1. Will conform to FIFA Laws of The Game.

2. No slide tackles allowed in U6, U8 & U10.

3. Any defensive player touching the ball in the Arch for U6 & U8 will result in a penalty kick as described in Law XIII of these rules.

4. Any attacking player touching the ball in the Arch for U6 & U8 will result in a free kick for the opposing team. The ball may be placed anywhere inside the arch.

1. U6 & U8 all free kicks will be indirect.

· Any foul that happens in the arch (U6 & U8) that would have resulted in a penalty kick will be taken from the center mark. The defensive team may be on their side of the field as long as they conform to Law VIII in these rules.

2. U10, U12 & U15 will conform to FIFA rules except as noted in Law VIII in these rules.

1. No penalty kicks shall be taken during these games (U6 & U8) except as noted in Law XIII in these rules.

2. U10, U12 & U15 will have penalty kicks.

1. All throw-ins will be taken at the point where the ball went out of play over the touch line either on the ground or in the air.

2. Throw-ins will be awarded to the opponent of the player who last touched the ball.

3. No goal may be scored directly from a throw-in.

4. All opponents must stand no less than 2 yards from the point at which the throw-in is taken.

1. Will conform to FIFA Laws of The Game with the following exceptions.

· Will be taken from the arch for U6 & U8.

· All players must conform to Law VIII in these rules.
